British Citizens Rejoice – Gel Can Fix Teeth

Ok, so it’s still in testing, but scientists are working on a gel that when applied to teeth can regrow the tooth material, changing the way that cavities are treated.  That means no more “drill and fill” and saving on the 45 million British pounds being spent annually to combat tooth decay in Britain.

What this means for citizens of the United Kingdom is that in the next three to five years they could go from looking like this:

to something a little better
